How do I find an appropriate paper?

  1. Make sure you are on CPP VPN so you have access to the university’s journal subscriptions (DO NOT PAY FOR ANY ARTICLES!!!) If you cannot establish a VPN connection (instructions here), there are many open access journals that provide articles for free, or email me a link and I will use my VPN connection to get the paper for you.
  2. Go to Google Scholar and search for a marine-related topic you find interesting.
  3. Pick your favorite paper! Make sure it is from primary literature, not popular literature.
