Objective: Evaluate action team planning for a successful team organization.
Introduction: Most of us have been on a team at one point or another in our lives. Whether this was for work, school, or sports, teams can be wonderful and productive, painful and disastrous, or somewhere in between. The focus of this lesson is on what makes for a successful work team in a small business setting.
Deliverables:
The essay for this lesson is required to be a minimum of 750 words (excluding title and reference pages) that clearly demonstrate your understanding of the activity. Essays should have a clear introduction, thesis statement and conclusion, written in APA format (Purdue OWL). A minimum of three sources, at least two from the lesson, must be cited in-text and in the Reference list..
Activity Details:
Step 1: Read the following questions, and use what you have learned about Team Action Planning to address each of the items below, and summarize your responses in a paper:
Think back to a team or group you were on. That team/group had a set of group dynamics and characteristics that evolved into an effective team. How would you evaluate the team and stages of development it went through to achieve a level of effectiveness?
What was the most important lesson learned? What was the most important skill set to have?
How would you evaluate the team and stages (Storming and Norming) of development they went through?
What went wrong and at what stage? What needed to be done to turn the team into an effective one?
Step 2: Write a paper.
Write your essay to address all the questions above.

· Include a cover page and references in addition to your required word count.
· Use correct APA format (7th Edition)
· Double-space text
· Use size 12 Times New Roman
· Use section headings to organize
· Indent paragraphs
· Include in-text citations
· Use correct spelling, grammar, sentence structure and verb tense
